Staff very welcoming and friendly, great food and the location is perfect for countryside/nature especially game fishing
the people were very pleasant and happy to help
there were a few spiders in my room.. one of which in my pillow, which i didnt like
Food was exellent. Good local ingredients, well cooked. Our standard double was good sized with a large bathroom and comfortable bath. We didn't have a view but we didn't ask for one. The hotel lies in an area of forest so panoramic views are not really a feature in any case. The outside space/ beer garden is lovely on a sunny day. I would like to try the lodges - they look nice from the outside.
Very friendly food was excellent and rooms spotless
I feel that advertisment for whirlpool was misinterperted as was only room enough fr one and to small to enjoy a leisurely soak it was more like a dip pool fr sauna that was not advertised
It was extremely convenient for touring many of the attractions of the area. In our case the castles of Mar. The room we had was very comfortable but we felt the four poster was just a little dominant for the size of the room also it was quite difficult for anyone who is a little on the well upholstered side to get round between the chair, the trouser press and the fourth bedpost!!!!! Other than that we have no complaints at all. In fact it makes for an extremely pleasant stay.
We were given a most welcome reception. The food was of a very high standard, the rooms very comfortable and overall a very pleasant stay.
Poor choice of food, more suited to a special night out. Bathroom had a foul sewer smell, shower extractor hanging partley out of the ceiling and very noisey ,mould on most of the bathroom ceiling.
Very friendly staff, well equipped room
My Booking confirmation gives the address of Balleter Road, Balleter. The hotel is not in Balleter it is in Dinnet as you E mail states. using my Sat Nav the Post code took me to an un-named lane. I would prefer a better Room Service
From the minute we arrived the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was warm and welcoming. The food was excellent and I would recommend to friends
The food at the hotel was excellent, the fact we could take our dog into the bar was a massive plus for us. Staff were brilliant could not be more helpfull
Rooms a little dated, shower not the best, low on pressure and only little hot water
Really Nice decor in the bedroom (four poster) very pleasant host and good pint of best. Excellent breakfast!!
shame bathroom was not to spec of bedroom...Food menu on the evening looked fantastic but a little limited and a touch on the expensive side but sounded really nice.
Service, breakfast, really clean room, cosy, comfortable
Hotel on the main road, room a little small for the price.
Some areas of the hotel in need of repair.
Restaurant and food good. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice lounge fire. Handy for walk around Loch
Decor old and worn particularly in room. Shower useless. Outside cluttered with building materials.
The staff were etremely friendly and helpful. The room was excellent. Better than we expected.
